And The Winner Is...

The rain won, today, sending us into Dennis for some R 'n' R of a different variety. It's a winning place to vacation, with our favorite National Seashore beaches only a stone's throw away and its "real life" options for off days.

Another winner was the Scargo Cafe. Hands down, its lobster roll beat out the previous two we rated. Prepared to order, this one had mostly tail meat and very little too-salty claw meat. The presentation is fabulous, the sweet potato fries crunchy, the coleslaw outrageous and the mini carrot muffin tender. Joe's warm-up bowl of clam chowder was deemed fantastic. Our shared dessert, the restaurant's claim to fame, was spectacular and light as a feather.

The ever-winning Tommy Lee and Meryl were adorable in the not-so-great flick, "Hope Springs". To even consider this movie, one should be miserably married for a long, long time and, at the very least, over fifty years of age. I deem it a geriatric warm-up for the upcoming screen version of "Fifty Shades..." I digress.

We're hoping Old Sol graces us with his presence once again, tomorrow. Our waistlines can't afford too many rainy days.
