Lady Bird Makes An Appearance

Perched underneath a tattered nest left from last spring, she seems to be waiting for her red-feathered mate. We're sure he's lurking somewhere nearby; but he's a lot more skittish than The Lady. She ultimately chose ground-feeding, avoiding the food fight being waged by Goldfinches. Smart girl.
