Just for the record, the gorgeous canoe is by Glidden Pottery, who delivered the goods from 1940 through the late 1950's. Created in upstate New York, it's highly collectible. I'm supposed to be in the business of selling vintage and antique items. If I score a piece of Glidden, though, willpower goes to the wind.
