So far this winter, our fine-feathered friends have managed without supplemental food. We've still no snow cover and temps have been extraordinarily mild. But we miss their frolicking about. So, a few days ago, Joe purchased fare and set up the feeders. At dusk on the day of this endeavor, I couldn't resist a photo of the inside tree lights reflecting on the outside feeder. Now, the tree is down and we are undecorated, but not totally. Twinkling lights have been replaced by colorful feathers of great variety... nature's palette renewed, affording me endless photo ops.
