We've a bird's eye view of the real estate in the Japanese maple. As we enjoyed lunch, today, I spotted movement and quickly grabbed my camera. I was able to capture the tiny wrens from my own perch at the kitchen island... and right through the glass of the slider. How's that for comfy birding? Joe is so happy, 'cause he made the investment about two years ago. Finally, we have condo tenants, but we've designated the property as rent-free. Later on, I moved myself and my Nikon to the other side of the glass, for this close-up. It seems that these little guys are not at all shy.
Now, we're hoping for a family to take up residence in the very cool multiplex that Bri found for us, several years ago. It is clearly for rent, with Everybirdy Welcome. :-)
