Freaking Out

Follow the lead of the Ski Patrol
and wear a good helmet.
Be sure to ski safely, wisely, and according
to your personal ability.
Teach your children well and
watch carefully over them.
Do I have your attention? Thanks. This is a reminder about the importance of ski helmets; my recent blog can be found here

This past Friday, there was a second... a second within a month's time... fatality at the same upstate mountain, Windham. A 69-year-old novice skier was on a "more difficult" trail, when she fell and slid off that trail and into a tree... no helmet. Link here for article. Sympathy and prayers go out, yet again.

Skiing can be a fantastic family sport, but one that is never - not ever - to be treated frivolously. If you witness erratic, dangerous behavior on the terrain, find a Ski Patroller... and follow his example by wearing a good helmet.
