Clinging Glory

The calendar, cool nighttime temps and a closed pool tell me that summer is waning fast. It has been an amazing run. We've had gorgeous, warm weather since May.
 No complaints here, although...
...my garden flowers are not ready to quit. Confusion, perhaps? They think it's still August. Persistent Morning Glories work their way up Fall grasses, clinging for support in finding the sun. New Hydrangea flowers are still appearing. Impatiens is popping up in the most unlikely of places, spawned from dormant seeds of years long past. See for yourself- I planted only "reds", this past Spring!

And... our four Baby Grands have started third and first grades, kindergarten and pre-school, now. Time flies when you're havin' fun!
