Joe and I spent a terrific hour with Piers and Kid, last night. You might recall my January (link) post about him. We were totally impressed - again. Corey, if you're reading, I must say that you have great taste. (I miss you♥.)
He's honest and in awe of his own fame. Piers brought out the fact that in each community's venue, Kid quietly (no media attention) finds someone in need to give back to. Shy of speaking to it, he did tell Piers that with the national news being so horrific on a daily basis, he actually finds places here and there that have no glaring problems - where residents are actually all in sync for momentary happiness. Kudos, Kid.
He would not speak negatively to any past relationships, no matter the prodding by the interviewer. Kudos, Kid.
He and his village of loved ones have calmly (no media attention) and successfully raised his son. Kudos, Kid.
I thought of him, this morning, as Japan bumped Libya out of the news. Brutal. But in a little Michigan town-called-home, there resides the proof - never judge a book by its cover. He'll probably find some one and some way to help. Kudos, Kid.
And then, there's the music. Kudos, Kid. FAN, here!
