Last Thursday night, Joe and I decided to run away from home. He threw a few suggestions into the wind, but I could only dream of the Sagamore and the road to our beloved Cape. He's easy. We made a last-minute reservation on Friday morning, and left to find that delicious salt air. We owe the long weekend to Christopher Columbus, whom we did proud, as we explored yet-undiscovered nooks and crannies of the National Seashore. Of course, we took lots of time to revisit favorite locations, as well. The Fall is a wonderful time of year on Cape Cod... traffic is light, weather is brilliant, and days are still long enough to beach hop to our hearts' content, being sure to end up where the sun sets. More to follow, as I sort through hundreds of pictures.
