It would be unfair to single out one of my favorite actors, Anthony LaPaglia ("Without A Trace"), as "the" star of this film; but he's terrific, as are Geoffrey Rush, Barbara Hershey and the entire supporting cast. The NY TIMES (link) review gives the 2001 film, "Lantana", four-out-of-five stars. I highly recommend it as a terrific commentary on the flawed fragility of humankind, as it applies to the success (or not) of relationships. Using our own grading system, we give it top honors with a clear ten.
