The Golden Globes... eye candy for everyone. Laughter for some. Johnny Depp, a self-admitted Anglophile, obviously embraced the sometimes-over-the-top Brit humor emanating from the host. Tim Allen, on the other hand, had every right to publicly belt Ricky Gervais, in my opinion. Jane Fonda served as testimony to a lifetime of exercise and a touch(?) of plastic surgery. Robert DeNiro is undoubtedly an actor's actor, with astonishing career achievements. Robert Downey, Jr., has an ego surpassing the size of Mt. Everest. "The Social Network" seems to be a must-see. Annette Bening looked like the funky female version of Johnny Depp; I really like both. Angelina seemed beautifully bored, as she clearly claimed ownership of Brad, who looked passive. Jeff... well, you know... he looked hot. Michael Douglas highlighted the evening with his response to a cheering crowd: "There's gotta be an easier way to get a standing ovation." We wish him the good fortune of remaining in remission.
