Water Gardening

My Mom is Queen Of Water Gardening... really! As far back as I can remember, there were snippets of this and that, propagating in pretty little containers of water. To this day, at 91 years old, her windowsill is laden with mini-vases of Christmas cactus, ivy or pothos, all growing in H2O.

A few of our Glidden vases, circa the 1950's, were awaiting my attention, ever since post-Christmas denuding of the house. Isn't it wild, when Santa and the tree come down? Solution? Mid-winter gardening, of course! Try it - you'll like it.

Just for the record, Epcot Lady is a souvenir from one of our long-ago trips to Disney World with Brian and Christian. ♥
