Roots

Inside, outside, upstairs or down, from the back of our home one sees a gorgeous Blue Spruce. If not acknowledged by a human glance, its image reflects indoors on our cooktop, demanding attention and clearly defining its reigning presence. I adore its history:

When our now-38-year-old Sun Son was only four, he and Joe went for a hike through our surrounding woods; they discovered a small seedling. They proudly carried it home to show me and our then-one-year-old Sun Son. We planted it where it now looms proudly, its branches gracing our garden and our hearts.

So, you see, the Sun shines, after all!
