Gramps took on the role of Easter Rabbit, so that our local Grands could enjoy an egg hunt the other day. He forgot to mention the newly sprouting Daffodils in one of the beds, resulting in my total surprise while outside with the kids. The picture is deceiving, in that these are miniature flowers... tiny replicas of the other Daffies, planted all around our yard and woods.
In the fall, I can never resist planting bulbs; and so, I do, rarely bothering to mark them. We carefully clean the beds, come spring, so that we don't disturb my little surprises. Such were the miniatures. The pic was taken during a stroll to fetch today's mail. Mambo always helps.
