Labor(less) Day on the Cape

How cool to be traveling opposite the exodus, today... Labor Day signifies the unofficial end of summertime on Cape Cod.
What a spectacular day... Joe deemed it "the best of the best"... exactly what I say of Marconi Beach.
I just love this treasure. We didn't leave till the tide was out and the dunes cast long shadows on the sand.
Dinner awaited us at the Wooden Shoe in Dennis Port, known for the most ginormous and scrumptious lobster rolls on the Cape. The tiny restaurant is officially closed for the season, but we made it just under the wire to try its popular fare.
Joe and I hope your Labor Day was equally happy, labor-less and delicious.
