Our coffee al fresco served us well, this morning. There's just something about relaxing on a July morning, with the birds chirping away. Maybe it's the renewed realization of how life is really about the simple things. Or a reminder of my belief that less is more.

The boys had told us that they discontinued various aspects of their own service. For example, why pay for HBO when you don't plan on watching it till winter? Good point. And then there's Netflix and Smart TV. With a little patience, we can wait till something is streamed in its entirety. I'm rambling. Long story short, Joe had phone in hand before our second cuppa.
We went to basic TV and lost extreme Internet. Our obscene bill was halved. But it gets better. The rep said our system box would need to be changed, since we have VCR capabilities. Really? News to us. But guess what?? Old box. No DVR, for which they've been charging, unbeknownst to us, for many months. You know - part of our bundle, aka package. We're owed well over a hundred dollars.
Moral of the story:
So you don't want to change your bundle? Well, at least find out EXACTLY what you're paying for. Bundles are good places to hide extras. We only want to know of the bundle of $$$'s we'll save by isolating our needs.
