Danger

Resembling a paper mache art project, this is actually a (link) Yellow-Jacket Wasps' nest. Thankfully, Joe spotted it, avoiding contact that could have been deadly. I've never seen anything quite like it... and, before today, I did not know that Yellow-Jackets are in the wasp family. The entire nest is made of wood fibers; thus its paper-like appearance. Joe said
it is at least two feet in length.
