Good Luck, Monti

Left Double-click Image To See Rooftop Announcer
A poor economy, budget cuts that closed a school and inflicted the loss of many teachers and programs, and a main street that appears to be in dire straits have rendered an already depressed Village seemingly hopeless. However, a grass roots movement and sheer faith seem to be having a positive effect herein. It's hard to believe that after 75 years, (link) football has been resurrected at MHS. It does not matter that bleachers are yet nonexistent and the announcer had to stand on the school rooftop... there was excitement in the air. We observed from a roadside bank as we left town, yesterday. We're envisioning Gavin on a future team.

Wishing all safe and rewarding fun.
